Apparently Web 2.0 is going to be riddled with problems because of the open nature of its structure….and people are just figuring this out.
It’s pretty easy to understand because Web 2.0 is all about freedom and openness with information, but there is a serious threat of malware and hackers because these black hatters can blog and the like just like everyone else. So how is that different from today?
Not much I believe but apparently we’ll see more of the malware it seems, I don’t really believe there will be more though, just a new breed of it, and Web 2.0’s open nature might be the perfect platform to easily distribute to the masses.
It’s a small price to pay considering Web 2.0 is a good move in the consumer/users favor.

I totally agree. I would hope that blog hosts would be open to user reports that point out people who are using their blog as a platform for malware.
It should be a BAN-able offense.
